Autumnal Beauty in Paris

Charming, warm, and intimate — that’s Paris for me. We’ll all have something different to say when visiting certain places but Paris truly invokes the clichéd romantic notion. It’s not necessarily the romantic feeling that you get with a special someone, instead, it’s the charming, warm, and intimate feelings the atmosphere gives you.

We visited on a lovely Autumn season and it didn’t seem as crowded as everyone says it is during Summertime. It seemed more relaxed, or perhaps that’s the culture, or it’s probably just me, or a combination of all!

I visited with my family and S.O., and we all came from London by train.

My S.O. and I stayed behind for a couple more days after my family had gone home. We went to Montmartre and our experience was a combination of tranquil and vibrant. I was able to really take it all in since it was a day we intended for slow, leisurely Parisian walks after those full days spent with the fam.

Paris reminded us a bit of our home city, San Francisco, especially with its diverse culinary choices. Our last chilly night in Paris was the perfect night for ramen! Kodawari Ramen in Saint-Germain-des-Prés was the perfect choice and absolutely reminded us of our favorite spot back home. The ambiance and food were fantastic.

Eagerly hoping that I’ll be able to return someday as there’s still so much more I’d like to experience in Paris. I must see this beautiful city during bloom season! Oui?! Oui!
